Sandra Salvati joined in February 2024. With over 35 years of diverse business administration experience spanning hospitality, professional equipment, security manufacturing, and real estate, Sandra found her calling in the senior living industry in 2012.

Her career, rooted in customer service and resident satisfaction, took a profound turn when she and her husband managed an independent senior living community during an economic downturn. This experience ignited her passion for serving seniors, shifting her focus entirely. Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational. Communications and Marketing from the University of Michigan, along with an associate degree in business administration and management.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Sandra cherishes her marriage to her husband, cultivated later in life.  They share a love for their fur babies, Lily, and Louie, and enjoy traveling, especially to Rome, Italy, where they have extensive family ties.

Dotty Harold is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the senior living industry, boasting an impressive seventeen-year career. She has held various key positions throughout her journey, including Director of Assisted Living and Executive Director. Dotty's extensive background has endowed her with a profound understanding of our senior population and a keen insight into the changes that accompany aging.

Her academic foundation includes a major in Gerontology from Madonna University, reflecting her commitment to gaining a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of aging.
What sets Dotty apart is her unwavering passion for connecting with residents. If you were to inquire about the most rewarding aspect of her job, she would undoubtedly express the joy she derives from spending time with those under her care. This love for seniors has fueled her dedication to the industry, propelling her into the role of Sales and Marketing Director. In this capacity, Dotty serves as a compassionate catalyst for families, empathizing with their unique needs and understanding the significance of the decisions they make for their loved ones.
Dotty Harold takes her role seriously, recognizing the immense trust families place in her. As a Sales and Marketing Director, she is committed to being a reliable and understanding guide, assisting families through the major decisions that profoundly impact the lives of their cherished seniors. Her ethos revolves around building trust and providing support during this critical phase in the lives of both seniors and their families.

Activity Director

Jamie graduated with a major in Therapeutic Recreation from Central Michigan University and holds certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. With experience in senior living since 2017, spanning Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care, Jamie is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents.

She takes joy in getting to know each resident individually, tailoring activities to their preferences and interests. Jamie's approach focuses on facilitating activities that resonate with residents, ensuring a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone. She welcomes you to stop in and see her and offer suggestions about what your loved one would like to do for group or independent activities.

Outside of work, Jamie finds relaxation in swimming, spending time with her cats, watching movies, and engaging in puzzles and games with friends and family.

Norman Wafer

Norman Deshawn Wafer serves as the Chef at Pomeroy Living, bringing a wealth of culinary expertise and passion to his role. His culinary journey began in Clinton Township, where he was introduced to a Culinary Arts Program during high school. Inspired by this experience, Norman decided to pursue a career in the culinary industry, enrolling in Dorsey Culinary Academy in 2010.

As one of the top graduates in the program's history, Norman embarked on his professional career as a prep cook at the renowned Roostertail in downtown Detroit. For a decade, he honed his skills and creative talents, mastering various culinary techniques including food service, banquet cooking, batch cooking, professional catering, and Senior Living cuisine.

Today, Norman proudly calls Pomeroy Living his home, where he is dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors in the community through his culinary creations. He considers it a privilege to contribute to their well-being and is committed to providing them with delicious and nutritious meals every day

Pomeroy John Newton

John Newton

Maintenance Director

John Started at Pomeroy skilled facility in Sterling Heights. Upper management quickly noticed his dedication to his job to maintenance and residents, so they decided to train him for a director’s position. John transferred to Pomeroy Living in Northville, as their Maintenance Director in 2023.

John was born in England, to a British Father and Scottish Mother. He became a bit of a Navy Brat as his Father was a “lifer” in the Royal Navy. He has lived in Singapore, Malaysia, Newcastle, England, and Glasgow, Scotland, where his Mother was from.

John is an Army Veteran, stationed in Germany, Falkland Islands, and Northern Ireland. He emigrated to the United States in 1987, making Michigan his home.

John has spent many years in the construction field, ranging from supplies to carpentry. His last seven years have been in the maintenance field.

John loves the outdoor life. Hiking, and especially camping. He loves hanging with his children, but being a jokester is his specialty….
